STAFF
The Yeshiva’s staff includes veteran scholars and young dynamic
Rabbis alike, all of whom balance their raw intelligence with
personal warmth, passionate convictions with understanding and
openness, and Torah wisdom with the modern world. In addition,
special guest scholars-in-residence will visit the Yeshiva and teach
throughout the year.
The founder of the Yeshiva is Rabbi Chaim (Ian) Pear. In addition to
receiving Rabbinic Ordination from Yeshiva University (with a
specialization in Jewish Philosophy), Rabbi Pear holds degrees in law
from New York University School of Law and international relations
from Georgetown University’s School for Foreign Service. An author,
former stand-up comic and popular lecturer in both Israel and the
United States, Rabbi Pear lives just a few minutes from the Yeshiva
and looks forward, along with his wife and three children, to hosting
students on a regular basis at his home.
