Mission

Yeshivat Shir Hadash is a Jerusalem based learning program for beginners dedicated to providing young college educated men the intellectual tools, spiritual inspiration and communal support necessary to grow in religious commitment and wisdom, both personally and as prospective leaders for the Jewish and secular worlds. Designed specifically for students with minimal traditional Jewish education but maximum potential – from Birthright alumni to ba’alei teshuvot, from the merely curious to serious spiritual seekers – the Yeshiva offers an intellectually honest environment for participants to gain sophistication in Jewish literacy, investigate traditional Jewish thought, develop textual skills and explore the possibility of living a halachik lifestyle at one’s own pace.
